Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I’m a travel author, writer, editor and SEO specialist. I’m from Newcastle, where I live with my husband and our cat.
My first guidebook, 111 Places in County Durham That You Shouldn’t Miss, was published by Emons in 2022 and won the 2023 Travel Media Award for Guide of the Year. Currently, I’m working on my second.
For more than a decade, I’ve worked in magazines, newspapers and digital content, and had some pretty cool jobs. I’ve worked on Metro’s SEO desk for the past five years, and previously I was Editor of London newspaper Waltham Forest Echo and Digital Editor at Wanderlust travel magazine.
